They are made by Johnson Controls. I just put one on my motorcycle. I'm seriously considering them for the 05. Just like anything else you can get a good one or a bad one. They are a good buy.

I just replaced my batteries with walmart batts a few months ago. So far so good, but thats not saying much. I have used walmart batteries in the past in my small car and was satisfied with it. You'll have a hard time finding anybody to beat the price or the warranty of the walmart batteries. 3 years free replacement and pro-rated after that for i forget how long. The way I look at it is when your batteries die and you want to warranty them you are more likely going to be close to a walmart than just about any parts store and the walmart will more than likely be open whatever time of day/night you need new batteries.

Got them in my 97, had them for 3 years no trouble yet. Like said above can't beat the price and warranty and locations of walmart. Just my .02

I have them in the Excursion. I usually have to replace them every 3 years or before though. I have gotten the last two sets for free because they die before warranty runs out.

the only problem i have with wally world batteries is that it is pretty hard to get the warranty on them. at least at my local store. i had trouble with one of my batteries from my truck and the guys there told me i needed a receipt for the warranty, and that they no longer validated the 3 year free replacement with out it. anyway long story short one guy check my battery and said it was bad and his co-worker chewed him out telling him he should not have checked it cause i didnt have a reciept and that he knew that most of the batteries that were coming in to be checked were no good and thats why a reciept was required. could just be my local store but i thought that was pretty screwed up.
