E40d help

I was told that in 95 an up e40d transmission they did some improvements. What did they do to them. An how hard would it be to take a 93 e40d transmission an upgrade the parts will they all fit. What i mean upgrade as in rebuild. Do they have good books or guides that have step by step to rebuild one?

Can some one look at this guide that did a rebuild an tell me if it is good. Would this also work with gas?

Yes the concept is still the same whether the engine is diesel or gas. Some of the individual components are different between the two, but overall the process is the same.
