Ok so I have an 05 f250. My issue with the headlights is that I have HID's hooked up to the low beams ONLY and the drivers side low beam is out. Now the tricky part is that when I switch it to the high beams the drivers side is good and the passenger side is INOP. To add to the situation, the low beam light went out first and I switched it to the high beams to make it home and when I started it the next day the high beam light was out.
I'm not too sure on what the issue would be that causes this... The MFS looks to be in good order and the Blue high beam indicator illuminates on the dash, and the rest of the functions work.
All of the fuses appear to be good under the hood and under the dash.
Alright so I just wiggled the wires behind the headlight assembly and got the stock high beams to come on. The HID's shorted out when trying them so I'm guessing it was loose wires behind the headlights on both sides quince dentally. I'm going to order up a new set and see how that works for me. Thank you!
Did you also change the headlight assembly when you put in HIDs? The factory housings are not designed for HIDs and you might not find other drivers like how blinding your headlights will be. If you keep the factory assemblies you might want to check and angle them down for a temporary solution.
