Hello all, I am new to this site and have a question. I have a 92 F250 7.3 and the engine shakes terribly until I hit about 50mph. Anyone have any clue what could be causing this?

Welcome to the forum, Rick.
We need some more info on your situation before we can really tell you what might be happening.
What transmission?
what gear are you in? (does it behave differently in different gears?)
All the crap I have done with my truck, loads, power, broken transfer case, many twisted driveshafts and on an on and my motor mounts are still original at 450,000 miles.
I am not saying they can't be broken, but it won't be easy to do.
rickscott2,
Welcome to FTE and the IDI diesel forum.
I also say we need a bit more info about your truck.
What about the shaking makes you believe it's the fault of the engine? Does it have a miss in the engine, rough idle, same vibration while sitting in neutral and raising the rpm or only shakes in gear and driving?
Thanks for the replies. I am replacing the injectors and when I pulled one of them out half of the injector is lodged in the port. anyone ever had this problem???
holy crap, i havent heard of that one before. so the top piece unscrewed from the bottom? Wow. you may want to put it back on if possible and first so a very small shot of pb blaster. Something to break it loose.
Ok be fore going any further grind all the coarse threads off and locktight the fine threads, let set up 1 or 2 days, then put a 2x6- 2x10 over it, disable the injection system, crank and hope fully it pops out...
Now if it doesn't pop out you will have to soak it with carbon blaster/berrymanns chem-tool or some such cleaner.
Scrape around the injector and try to pry it out and pull it out with a needle nose pliers.
I couldn't get mine to come out so I ended up pulling the heads and having them hot tanked,,The guy said it took longer to find the pliers then it took to pull it out...
So make sure you try to locktight the top part and crank it first, but don't damage the fine threads.... GOOD LUCK!!!
would a heat gun be beneficial in this case? The hot tank just expanded the metals and broke things loose. Maybe a non flammable "carbon blaster" and some good heat? Just a thought.
I used locktite and screwed it back into the other half. I wont use needle nose pliers again, I am now missing a 1 inch chunk of skin off my knuckles using those things! So I should wait a day or two?
