I was searching looking for 08 chrome package grill part number and came across your thread. If you are still in need of an 06 VIN here is mine from my previous 06 which had the factory chrome package: 1FTSW21P36EA86978
Just to tidy up this old thread for future visitors .... the Ford P/N for the 2005-2007 "Chrome Package" grille (Chromed billet-style grille; 14-bar) is 6C3Z-8200-AAA
This is the actual "Ford" Grill (my bumper was off in this picture, but it's a good shot of the grille):

Well, I can't hook you up for the good info and pic. I do have a question. How do you rate the sturdiness of the actual Ford grille? The aftermarket one I had was a direct replica of the Ford one, but it seemed kinda flimsy in the center section. All this is moot because I've wrecked the front end again and have to do it all over with the hood and fenders this time. So I am probably going to go full 07, with harley lights at first. I'm not positive I will like the harley lights with a chrome grille, I could see it with a body colored grille. But I figure if I don't like them it will be easy to sell them or trade them for some clear ones.

I'd say it's pretty sturdy ... I don't have any experience with the aftermarket grille's, but a friend who has an aftermarket grille said mine was more substantial than his replica. The Ford grille is still just the "chromed plastic" though, and I would say that it is a bit delicate. The first one the dealer shipped me rubbed the box a bit during transit and it took the chrome off .. it went back.
I would guess regardless the standard chrome grille is much more substantial than the chrome package one. I could see it as being delicate with the thin bars, but mine was down right flimsy. Good info! I think i am going to get the Ford one this time around, they didn't have one in stock though locally for me to look at.
Well just in case someone is searching for the 08 chrome package grille part number it is: 8C3Z-8200-EA
Since that is why I got back into this thread.
I don't recall my 06 chrome package grille as being flimsy; and I always liked the look of that grille; got several complements from total strangers on it too. (one was driving a dodge!)
