glow plug indicater
i just put in a new GPR (was supposed to be a stancor relay i was told) but is a factory one...(it cost $65 by the time i paid shipping +duty to canada...) oh well, i have it in, but i have seen people hook up a indicater to tell when the glow plugs are active. any link or instructions for this?

Just attach the ground to the threaded post that holds down the GPR itself and put the other wire on the non-booted large post on the GPR itself. Run the wires to the LED and place the LED wherever you like inside the cab. So simple even I could do it! And I'm elec-tarded.

i attached a wire to the GPR (large nut with no cover) ran it along with my boost line into the cab (already had a indicator in place for a switch) cut the wire and attached it to the indicator, the indicator was already ground in the cab. i agree with triskit the less wires coming from the engine compartment the better. i have read some have put a inline fuse in, but i did not.
