Question Electrical Problem

As the title implies I have a electrical gremlin! It's happened 4 or 5 times now and it goes away in a few minutes. After starting the truck or just turning the key on sometimes the radio and power windows have no power. So far they've began to work after a few minutes. Anyone ever experience this or have any idea what the problem is. An issue like this that sporadic and resolves itself can be nearly impossible to track down without an idea of where to look!! Any help would be appreciated!!<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

I'd look at the door switches (esp drivers) and the accessory delay relay. Also start checking grounds. Take them apart, clean them and reassemble.

You are right, this will be a PITA to find...

I have seen a few people here that have had problems with the fuse box connectors, pull them off and check for corrosion and contacts.

Thanks’ for the heads up from both of the posts above. This is a very sporadic problem but I'm going to go through the fuse box and check for corrosion for sure. May even go ahead and replace appropriate fuses and relays since the cost wouldn't be very much as well.

If I remember right, some on here had problems behind the fuse box, you may have to pull and inspect it.

I think the leaky windshield seal was in the very early SDs 99-00 or thereabouts. But checking sure won't hurt and is easy enough.
