My name's Bradley and I just got my 1st Ford today. It's a '97 F250 PowerStroke diesel. I love it so far. Maybe you guys could help me with a few electrical issues it got. 1st off, the fuel gauge does not work on either tank. 2nd, I have no low beams. The bulbs and fuses are fine and the highs works fine too. Any ideas?
im dealing with the same issue with my 03 f250 ... my highs work but no lows ... ive done some research and have found a bunch of people talking about the MFS (multi-function switch)
*Update*
I noticed today that the fuel gauge will go up toward full when I take a right turn. It just stays on empty the rest of the time. Oh, I got a new multi-function switch for free. I just got to pick it up on Friday.
That's what I was thinking until I did the selector valve bypass this morning. I can jump the connectors and get the rear tank to read on the dash, but the front still stays on empty. Maybe the selector switch?
