i have a holley built motorcraft carb from a 460 that i cannot find the idle mixture screws. i have searched many sites and found nothing. the numbers on the throat of the carb are as follows

Should be a Holley 4180 600 cfm 4bbl off of an 83 Ford 351 or 460, from a truck.
The idle mixture screws on those are on the left and right verticle walls of the primary metering block, right behind the primary fuel bowl.

Are the holes there?!?! Is your truck idling poorly? If so, maybe that's why. It will idle with them gone, but not very well.
Here's a pic.
Not your exact model but close enough. He's adjusting the idle mixture screw. Ignore the arrow.

Never heard of that before. Must be to keep us from messing with the settings for emissions reasons.
You can put an adjustable metering block on it. Someone probably has one to donate to you. I don't.
