Hey not sure if it is ok to ask this here (I am a newbie)
Hey lift guys; does anyone have a front leaf spring left over after they lifted their truck for a 2004 F350?
I bought my truck and the front left leaf spring was bent and rubs against the bumper bracket....very annoying. And no it is not just slipped over the front from the axel forward is bent.....not sure how.
The truck supposedly originally came with a camper package. What that means I have no idea. I keep getting conflicting information on what a camper package is. Some where I thought I read it was stronger front leaf springs.?
Whatever just thought it might be pertinent to getting a replacement since I am going to put a slide in camper on this truck.
Check on the drivers side door pillar and see if you can get the spring code from the VIN tag as there are a multitude of different springs, especially if you think it had a camper package. Sometimes it pays to go to the dealership and get the right thing, especially where your suspension is concerned.

One problem here - I just bought the truck. I had the same Ford dealership do a tranny service on it last week, he told me the previous owner might of had a lift on it.
I am not sure this is true or if the guy just had bigger tires.
So I am not sure these are the original springs...?
I would prefer if part of a camper package includes different springs to have the correct springs (please tell me if you know what a camper package is)
Also I am not sure how to figure out the spring by VIN.?
Maybe from the pic you can tell? Thanks
ptr34: What part of Florida are you in? I am in Fernandina Beach just north of Jacksonville. Feel free to email me; not sure how that works here.
I am interested as the scrapping is driving me nuts.
YOU can't get the spring code by the VIN but a dealer can. Maybe I should have said the build tag on the door pillar. It has spring code, paint code, etc, a lot of build information about your truck. Sometimes even a dealer has trouble getting all the info just from the VIN #.
