Glad it worked for you.. If you had a known problem, I guess it was worth a try? I'm curious to see what happens after some more miles.. Please keep posting your experience..

I have read many mixed results on Hot Shot. Hopefully you are one of the lucky ones that has a positive experience.

I'm also curious if this is a long term solution or only a band-aid. Hopefully the former and not the later.

Out of curiosity - how many miles on your truck, and what brand and type of oil have you been using?

I have 80,000 on my X and have never thrown an injector code. However, I have used Royal Purple 20W-50 synthetic motor oil from day one and change it every 7,500 to 10,000 miles. Every 5,000 miles or there abouts I put in 2 quarts of RP TCW-3 synthetic 2 cycle oil in the fuel tank. Never had a problem with fuel injectors.

Also, I use Hot Shot Secret in my motor oil and there cetane booster for the fuel.

No smoke, been using it for 2 years now and what I notice most about it is when the temp. goes down 5-15 deg. the truck starts right up with no shake for the first few seconds.

Everytime I get fuel I add the 2 stroke oil. I buy it in gallon jugs and I fill a 16 oz. plastic bottle which is kept in the lower door compartment of my rear door of the super cab. I wait for the fuel gauge to get down to half (29 gal. tank) then when I add fuel the whole pint bottle gets dumped in, so it comes out to 1 oz. per gallon. I use the empty gallon jugs to store my engine waste oil.
