Injection lines that break off
#17
USD$23.06 shipping
CDN$36.99 UPS Brokerage Fee
= it's just as cheap to buy from BD performance here in BC for CDN$95.
My van is dead right now. Waiting for a replacement from GWFI. I ordered the #1 line for the van correctly, but they shipped the truck line. Now I have another week to wait for the right part, and might still get dinged brokerage, *and* have to pay to ship back the wrong part.
I'll not be ordering from them again, unless I have no other choice.

Well, I finally made it back home today. None of the state parks I went to had internet access, so I haven't been online since Jekyll.
After I put the line on in the park in Destin, the truck ran well. When I had put the new used line on, it ended up being closer to the large metal line coming out of the filter, so I had put a wire tie I had with me around the injection line and the filter line. After talking with you guys and after I got to Edisto Island, I took that tie off, put three ties just around the large filter line to avoid metal to metal contact, and then put three wire ties around #1 injection line and the filter line to keep it from vibrating. I felt better about the whole situation after looking at it again, since I noticed the other lines on the passenger side have another clamp on them, so the #1 line must have the one clamp, and the other lines go through two clamps.
It makes sense the sensor fitting is making the line not fit right. I may indeed take that sensor fitting off and see if I can get the line to fit better. If I can't find the clamp for that line, I believe I am going to make one out of some metal and some 1/4" id rubber fuel line to go between the lines and the clamp.
I may call the fuel injection place in Harrisonburg Va, and see what they have to say about these lines. I am curious because they are very thick walled, and I am wondering is that little flare part of the line and there a tool to flare it, or is it some sort of steel ferrule? It's hard to tell looking at a used line.
P.S. Thanks for the offers for help. If the timing was a little different, you may have gotten a phone call.
