Not a lot. I've never measured the pressure in the line returning from the coolers, but there is less than 30 PSI going to the coolers, so it's definitely less than 30 PSI.
in stock form, my e4od has a small section of rubber hose on the return line held on with hose clamps.
the line going to the coolers is steel all the way. would it be ok to use a section of hose with clamps on this line too? i wouldn't think 30 psi would be too much...
It will work, Just make sure that the hose is rated for that pressure and if at all possible use the proper fittings to connections and you should be OK. Heat is a factor as well as pressure. If you have a rubber hose on your trans. cooler lines you should check it every now and then to make sure it hasn't got hard.
Your local auto parts store prob. has rubber trans. cooler hose in stock.
