6637 mod question

I have ordered the 6637 kit from Clay just waiting for it to get here to install it and the CCV mod. My question is looking in the stock air box there is what looks like a sensor in the side of the air box. What do I do with this sensor and what is this for?

Take it out of the box and wire tie it near the filter when you are done. Some people mount it into the housing of the 6637.

I have that box too. It makes the 6637 fit a bit tight. Just zip tie your IAT sensor to something solid behind the filter.

I think that box is where the ESOF relays are and that would explain why Dan ain't got one.

The Vacuum pump and solonoid is on the passenger side of all our 4 wheel drive trucks, but on the 01's and back, the relays were under the hood on the drives side. Two relays under each little box. One box, I think the closest to the air box, it the ESOF and the other is trailer two relays. Everything went in the cab, under the dash in 02.

Handy to know also it all 4 relays are the same. Should you ever be in a bind and you 4x4 goes out, you can switch out the trailer tow to get you going, if that's the problem, and replace the bad on later. And you are welcome.
