I made it there and back with no problems. The top hose clamp was the culprit! Truck performed great!
I did notice some erratic shifting for the first 20 miles or so but it came out of it and worked great. I am guessing it takes a few miles of towing to re-learn shift points?
Anyway trip was good. Fishing on the other-hand....... Sucked!
If I had a dollar for every time I heard that this week I would have several!
hahahaha.........I hear ya. To me it's not about the catching it's about being there for what mother nature has to offer. Catching fish is a bonus 'cause I release them most of the time anyway. Species doesn't matter. It's the pull on the string.
Right ON Partsman!
I am an active Walleye fisherman and love it. I spend as much time as I can out on the water and agree with you 100%. The 15th was probably the best day on the water I had all year. It was 75 to 85 deg. all day with a crisp morning, 5 to 15mph breeze most of the day and the sun was shining. Perfect day on the water by anybodys measure.
I guess someone just forgot to tell the fish it was such a nice day :0) I am headed to the river in a week to give the Walleyes a run so life is good! I can make it through a week of work with that on the other end!
