Crank shaft position sensor

Hey Everyone hope all is well could someone point me in the right direction i need to know where the Crank Shaft position Sensor is on a 03 6.0 4x4 lariat F350 after replacing the icp and ipr i get a gas light on then the secondary gas light on and the engine light comes on and i get a Crank Shaft sensor code !

What......

What the hell is a gas light? CPS is behind the ac compressor, bottom passenger side of block. Its a bitch to change. Check your wiring.

What is the code you are getting (crankshaft = CKP)?

The code i got was p 2617 but no more icp curcuit open codes i checked my wires and they look good no chaffing or bent pins !! oh and i ment to say fuel light there are two on mine the first one beeps then you have about 30 miles or so till empty then a smaller one comes on with three lites that look like little drops but nun the less still no start

The one with the drops is a water in fuel light. You need to drain the water separator located on the fuel pump, inside drivers side frame rail right under the front door. Also, please see this post: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/8...-pcm-help.html as you may have a connector issue also. FWIW--I would pull the secondary fuel filter lid under the hood and check to see if you have water in your filter. Also, when you drain your water separator catch it in something clean so that you can see how much water you get.

IMHO--you have some kind of a harness issue that you haven't found.
