Dont have the truck anymore, install it correctly and it doesnt vibrate. That was my second rack, if it vibrated i wouldnt have bought a second, duh...
OK I only got off 1 pic today, my screen is busted on the digital, so it's like pot luck when I get to the PC (kinda like the old days of pictures,eh?)
Anyway tommorow (if anyone is in suspense!) I'll get a couple of better pic's
Kinda close but sorry, I only have a tiny corner of my lcd screen functional.
As far as rattle who could hear w/ the Diesel? Well i had radio off, tried the window and coulndt hear **** from it. Now I did no drilling into the bed, I'd rather drill the metal of the rack first.
All I did was J hook it as the flange from the kit was the same as the bed lip, which means my heavy ash tool box sits on it then is J'd to the bed. When I get a chance I'll go one more per side to make 3 J's on each end. And honestly I cant move it now.
Maybe for you Northerners, but I have never seen one of those in person anywhere I have been in Texas. Everyone either has the RKI rack or the Ranch Hand.

OK because of the camera this is the best pic I can get, anyway I do like that it comes w/ 2 holes along the sides to anchor hooks to. I used it today to bring a stringer (aluminum 16 footer) back from a friends. Down the highway 50 miles no sweat.
Got some CB whip antenna's I'll install when I get a chance, should help the Cb and look sharp too.
Side rails are something that can be added to the BackRack setup. These rails are well made and work fine as equipment tie-downs.
A side benefit of the rack and of the rails is that it reinforces the bed of the truck. Stock bed sides flex a lot - this setup stiffens things up. One result is that the truck is quieter, especially when loaded.
I have the first style Back Rack. I think it's fantastic. Pretty much invisible if you're looking through it from the cab; solid as a tank, absolutely NO vibration, and does a perfect job of securing my power opening rear window.
