Pushrod Help.....

Pushrods were installed out of order........How can this be corrected....Anyone have a picture of a intake manifold with the carb. installed to use as a guide for vacuum hoses and springs from carb. 1978 F150 Custom 351M....

It doesn't matter what order they go in.

Thats what I thought, but a friend had told me that if they were out of order the piston would hit them and would make them pop, and bend the rod....is that not true.....all the pushrod are the same length so I thought it should not matter.....

Your friend is wrong. The piston can not hit the push rods. Ideally youd want to put the push rods in the same place because they have "worn in" so to speak in that location. The same with the rocker arms and lifters but its not going to destroy anything if they dont end up in the same spot.
