Sorry, I changed it early this year and I have slept since then and forgotten, I had purchased at a local auto store because it was cheaper then a stealer, their might be trade offs, like how long the rubber support will do its job and so fourth. I'm the second owner of this truck and don,t know if it was a OEM, I have 463,000 mile on and if it was OEM that was good, it's your call as to where you get it.

Just finished my slip joint up. Boy getting that drive line out was a PITA. Talk about rust but PB came to the rescue. That drive line was totally dry. Very little grease at all. Greased it up realllllll good and put back together. No more clunking noise so far. Easy fix and thanks to the 7.3 FTE people saved me a boat load of money. I know the stealership would have said that it needed new u joints or carriage joint or something. $3 for grease and a little over an hour and half. Job successful so far. Thanks FTE

WOOOHOOO!!! Mission accomplished. I did the slip joint regrease which by the way was pretty dry. I also replaced my u-joints on the drive shaft which those were toast. Some of them looked okay from just looking at them till I knocked them out. Pooof....nothing but rust, needle bearings everywhere, not a spec of grease. Long overdue.

Put everything back in and what a difference. It was like driving another vehicle. The sensation/clunking I was getting is gone. A big for everyone on FTE your guys and gals are
