stalling problems

i have an 04 6.0 f250 king ranch my problem with it is when i start it up it will run fine for approx 10min then sounds like it is slowly running out of fuel and stalls. i can cycle the pump once and start it back up right away and it will do the same thing. i have done my filters also a pressure test just shy of 60 psi also have done a volume test approx 1 pint of fuel per 30 seconds also changed oil and filter and cleaned out ebp valve.i am now lost i am a carpenter not very good at the mechanic thing been learning lots off this site trying out different things great site.if any one could help that would be great (i know i didnt word this the greatest i am new but i will get better also the reason for pint is because i love beer)

1pt/30sec=15gal/hr. I'm not sure what the factory fuel pump is supposed to put out, but I'm quite sure it's supposed to be more than that. Pressure does not always mean you have enough volume. I'm gonna let a tech weigh in here, but it sounds to me like your fuel pump is giving up. What brand of filters did you put in?

That's where I was headed. If he never drops below 50 psi then I would say the volume is OK or he would lose press. at the 2ndary filter

Where did you take your volume test from, because I'm convinced that 15 gal/hr is very low fuel flow. I know my ADII is a high performance fuel pump, but even at its rated flow it's still almost 5 times what his is putting out IIRC. I may be totally out of the ballpark here, but I'm very curious for sure.

Actually it happend before i changed them.My wife was driving me home after a day of fishing and boating she made the comment of how nice it was running and would like to trade me for her escape then it just died on her. I had a smoke to relax a second then tried it. It started up right away lucky we were only a bout 5km from our house made it home and have been playing with it since.I changed them hoping maybe dirty or water but no such luck

How long does it run when it starts stalling? just a few seconds? Can you take a fuel pressure reading at the secondary fuel filter housing test port? I'm starting to think this isn't a fuel problem isn't more.

It will run for approx 5min while stalling out and if i pump the throttle lots i can get it to pick up some but it takes a lot of pumping.I am hoping to try a pressure test at the secondary filter tomorrow

Pumping the throttle actually does nothing but send an electrical signal since it's fly by wire anyway. I see that a couple of my compadres are here now. Maybe they'll get me out of my brain fart. I'll be monitoring and thinking.

03/04 HPOP's are all the same and once they are running they usually put out enough oil to overcome a leak. The weird thing is cycling the key/fuel pump and it restarts, but basically no throttle response.

Muskyman--is it possible to get it scanned for codes? I don't expect any, but it might show something.
