Tuners and EGR...
Is there any chips or tuners out there that are capable of turning off the egr and such emission systems???....
Also I heard a while back on here that BD industries is making some sort of machine that a dealer can hook to your truck and completely clean the intake and such...?...ring a bell...and can someone tell me more about it?

Yes, tuners with custom written tunes can disable the EGR. In fact, it is necessary when the EGR system has been deleted so that the truck does not throw a DTC. I'm not a tuner guy, so I won't try to advise you, but some searching here will show the way.

No chips, but there are tuners that will enable you to do that. You will need to get the tuners that allow for custom tuning. Your more well known tuners such as Edge, Bully Dog, Banks etc do not do that as their tunes have to be able to apply to the general diesel truck owning population, not the 5% of the truck owning population that do the mods that you need custom tuning only for.

I don't think this is available for DIY. You have to go to a BG service provider. Some Ford dealers apparently do.

For what they charge to do the intake cleaning I'd remove the intake myself and take it to the quarter wash. The 03 intake that's on my truck now came off a 150K mile tow truck. It spent all day in a wash vat and an hour with a commercial steam cleaner to get the carbon chunks out.
