Ok, FTE. I got the van turbo installed this weekend. Actually went nice and smooth. I worked on it 3 hrs. Saturday and finished it up Sunday morning, I could have finished it Saturday but I needed to have a little family time too. Next time I have to tear into this it should take maybe 1-2 hours tops and that’s without air tools. The clamp on the back of the turbo to the up-pipes took a while but with a lot of penetrating oil and patients it came right off. I also discovered that I’ll be replacing my leaky up-pipes sooner than anticipated. Over all I'm really impressed with the performance of the turbo. It's only slightly more laggy compared to stock, honestly not that noticeable. I am only able to get it to boost up to 25-27 lbs. The hole way to WOT its very smooth, keeps on pulling. I love it. EGT’s seemed to be a tad lower normal driving, but WOT still have to get out of it but I think that’s due to those leaky up-pipes. Oh one more thing, I actually think my exhaust sounds a little deeper. Great upgrade! Thanks FTE for all the references and the help!!! Now time for some pics.
Nice Glenn, a big congrats, sounds like its doing what it supposed to be doing. Gasgrunt88 Chris is leaning towards the van turbo also, i,m sure he'll be subscribing. Great pics. Rep police got me, I'll hit you up later...
Good job Glenn.Glad you got it installed with no issues and it works well. You know if you need some help,Chris(F350-6) and I are not far up the road from ya.
Good job!! Your up-pipes look worse than mine. I'm still able to get to almost 30psi and my EGTs are mostly below 1300 at all times now (especially with the 6.0 I/C ). What kind of boost & EGTs are you seeing now?

Boost was up to 27 (+/-) and EGT's got up to 1500 then I let off. I really think my leaky up-pipes are the problem. Hopefully those will be replaced soon. But she sings when I get on her!
