Need help id'ing engine.. 351 or 400??

what he said

something like a brazing rod of a stiff wire like coat hanger wire. find the bottom of the stroke & mark the rod/wire bottomed out on piston & then find the top of stroke & mark it again, measure distance between marks & you've got it.

try this

You can tell the engine size by the VIN number. If you tell me you VIN I can figure it for you.

the engine was swapped out once.. i'll measure the stroke om it..
