AC Intermittently quits cooling

AC Intermittently quits cooling

This is definitely not a blend door issue. Going down the rad at cruise and the AC will just quit blowing cold air for a few moments. Then it comes back as cold as before. What's up with that?

Like the thread a couple further down the list - scheck the clutch gap. Odds are the gap is on the wide side and you need to pull a shim out.

Is that typical for wear? Sounds like a reasonable solution. Just can't wait to screw with it.

Dave is right on the money.
That's very typical on your 3 older trucks. Your 06 is a little bit young for that much wear to happen yet, but it certainly could happen.
