CB wire routing thru dash?
I've had a CB in my truck since I bought it but I've never taken the time to give the wires proper routing- now that I'm getting some down time this weekend I'm wondering what the best route thru the dash would be. I have it mounted directly above the center console.
I'm not too concerned with the power wires as those are small enough I can snake them thru just about anything- it's primarily the antenna wire I'm concerned about because of the 1/2" connection on the end. Right now it's just kind of hanging out in the middle of my floor under the driver side floor mat. I've found a good route to bring the antenna wire under the seat and carpet so that it comes out over the center hump, I'm just not sure where to go from there.
Just thought I'd see if anybody else has one wired up and how you routed your wires.
91 F-150 BTW.
Thanks!

There really isnt a good way. At first I had it coming down between the HVAC controls and the tach.. (in that littler section thingy) and it went to the floor and back. Then later I had it across the windshield, down and back, and now my CB is mounted on the roof and the wire goes straight back, then down and out of the drain hole in the corner and then up the back of the cab. Sorry I couldnt really give you the answer you wanted, just experience.
