Tranny Identification?

Tranny Identification?
Hi All,
As the subject says I need help too identifiy my tranny. The numbers I've got from the side of the tranny's are. Attached to my 351C is the tranny # D2AP 7006 EA. C4 I'm thinking? And attached to my 400 is # D8AP 7006 AA. C6 I'm thinking too? Are these interchagable? I'm putting the 400 into a 1973 Ford Gran Torino Sport. Just wondering if I should keep the tranny from the 351C as a spare or not? Thanks for your time and I look forward to the reply!

The C4 has 11 bolts on the oil pan and a removable bell housing, the C6 has 17 bolts on the pan and the bell housing is integral and not removable.
Not sure about the interchangeability though. I'm sure someone else will know and chime in.
