T/C problem
I kinda understands my torque converter is supposed to disengage when you touch the brakes (I'm assuming it's electrical and activated with the brake lights) but recently it disengages with the left signal light. It pulses with the flashing of the lights. Also it disengages when the headlights are turned on. Also this prevents the cruise control from working when the headlights are on.
May I have an electrical short in tail light wiring feeding back and signalling the t/c to disengage?

I forget all the details (been 15 years) but, there was a recall/TSB related to this and I think it was the MAF or the cruise control module under the hood. It is not the wiring. In some cases it will provide unplanned acceleration in cruise mode and will not disengage.
If you search in the truck forum with "+cruise +recall" it will most likely pull up an old thread about it.

You have a problem with a brake light bulb on the rear of the truck. One or more is blown, or shorted to the taillight filament. It is probably the left side, though the center one can do this, too.
