ABS light on and off

05 SD V10 Auto 4.30 cruise control was working and ABS light came on. Shut truck off light stayed on hit a rough street and light went out. Driving home today light came back on then on cruise and hit rough highway nad tach and speedometer went up and down. reset cruise and it worked fine again. what speed sensor is used to control the cruise control in this truck, a front wheel or the rear differential sensor? Is there a ohm test to do on this sensor or just replace the sensor?

Before you do anything else, check level of brake fluid. If brakes are getting worn, it's normal for the fluid to go low.... may be time for new brake pads.
