Valley Pan gasket

I am getting the edelbrock manifold and carb kit from summitt, my question is do I need to get a new valley pan gasket or not??

You will need new gaskets of some kind. You can get a new valley pan or regular intake gaskets it up to you.

Thanks, the kit from summitt comes with gaskets and such, so I guess I am good to go

I would recommend the valley pan gasket. I've ran without one then decided I should have one in there after taking off the intake and the bottom had oil all over it. Its not hard to put one on. Mine seems to run better with valley pan. Just my .02

It'll keep the intake cooler with the valley pan gasket.
