I know these are not the same trucks, but my 79 is marlin blue and wimbledon white. I have found that the color is hard to show in photos. The top photo looks darker but the bottom photo looks very similar to the original photo.
1965/66 F Series Trucks / COLOR code as listed on the Warranty Plate:
W = Marlin Blue aka Medium Blue.
Ford part number: AE601742A

1966/67 F Series Trucks / COLOR Code as listed on the Warranty Plate:
F = Arcadian Blue aka Light Blue.
Ford part number: AE601226A
On the chart Bill W posted the link to, COLOR code H = Caspian Blue is the same as Arcadian Blue.
Passenger cars, in many cases, used different "Promotional Names" and COLOR codes than what was used on trucks, but the colors are the SAME.
And, the more expensive the car, the fancier the Promotional Name can be!

Note: I have the Gen-U-ine Ford color chip charts for 1965, 1966 and 1967.
So....I'm looking at the actual chips that are glued on the Touch-Up paint charts, that all the dealers used at the parts counter.
I'm not looking at online pictures of the colors. Online pics are digital, the colors do not appear to be the same.
This includes the pic of the 1965 F100 in post #1. Seeing it in the "flesh" you will discover that the colors will not match what this pic shows.
NumberDummyI did have a laugh at your gen-U-ine comment, not often you see gen-u-ine stuff anymore.... on a side note it must be in the eye of the beholder, but my 65 mustang was caspian blue at one stage and I always thought it was a darkish blue compared to the other blues at that time, particularly the marlin blue! Unless of course it wasn't caspian blue, which opens up a whole new can of worms....
