What kind of guy goes after women with a bat or fists...this partly why he is an X. What usually happens in these domestic situations is it is more apt to get violent when outside people get involved. If she is done with the guy and got her stuff back and he is still a problem get a restaining order right away if he is harrassing her.
I will refrain from saying what I think out to happen to any guy that abuses someone.

the kind that thinks beating a woman is a sign that their a "Man" and "can put their woman in their place"... i swear i so hate those kind of people... makes ya wish ordinary people (aka. non-law enforcement) could still draw and quarter people for doing stuff like that...

Minor fist fight = misdemeaner 1year jail. Hitting someone with a bat = felony 5 to 10 years prison.

Ya'll can handle it, be civil and if there's a problem you can call the police non-emergency number and see if they will come out to keep everything cool if need be.
