it's a tad loud without any pipes or mufflers under there
mostly, I'm just working on getting off of my *** and ordering the rest of the parts. . .to indecisive As with most things I do i'm at the "screw, just order something and put it on" phase. . .looking at Cherry Bomb Extreme resonators only, at least until I get pulled
nahh your just going with the monster truck sound atm.. lol i always loved it when the suburban blew holes in the sides of the headers lol...
i dont like the sound of the cherry bombs lately... they sound too raspy anymore... they just dont seem to have the sound they use to have back in the day...
the originals were pretty much straight pipe with little fiberglass packing in them... they sounded perfect to me... but ones since then come off a little riceish sounding...
i think ud like the vortex ones really... theyre a hybrid muffler... gives ya both excellent sound without it being too loud and close to the flow as you can get with running straight pipes.. (its also from cherry bomb)
wow that's $$ Like $90 a piece. . .or that kind of dough I want the exhaust note to sound like show tunes
there were some louder sounding magna flows but they are out of stock for another week
any other brands you would recommend?
i kind of want flow master sound, but not at that price, lol. . .and i have read that FM is fairly restrictive?
ive always loved flowmasters original recipe...summit still sells them.. (least last time i looked they did)... i could look up the part numbers for ya if ya tell me what inlet and outlet size you want and whether itll be Offset, center, offset...
Just for the cost I wonder if it might be worth it to see what they sound like. I like the offset as well, I just want to dump these in front of the passenger tire. . .
