Hi,
I've searched the archives and there is a ton of info on this but nothing
I could find about how to do the job. The fronts are straight forward
but it appears that it is necessary to remove the gas tank to do the
rears Please tell me I'm wrong about this but I don't see any
other way. I have a new bushing and hardware kit from D-C.
Thanks,
Carl
Carl, yep, the tank has to be moved up. It is easier if you remove the seat, remove the filler, remove the gas line and remove the straps. Then block the tank up with 2 X 4's. You now have enough room to get a ratchet in there.
Thanks Scott and Dan......you know i really needed somebody to just
hold my hand on this issue. So the seat is already out being upholstered
and now I'll just get on with the rear cab mount bushings.
