On the Chilkat River in Haines, Alaska went down to do some wheeling and then got worried that the stock tires don't have enough bite to deal with glacial silt (imagine clay with oil mixed in it and gooey). Need to get some chains made for next trip. Dogs had fun. Didn't catch many fish.
If anyone from FTE makes it to Alaska in the summer give me a shout before you head up here if you buy the gas, bait, and beer I'll take you out halibut and salmon fishing.
Man, I miss that place. Cant wait to get back in a couple years. We lived in Anchorage though. I spent some time in Juneau, but never made it to Haynes. Love that place.
Maybe you can feel the homesick jealousy though your monitor screen...
I never been to Alaska but will go someday, looks like I would love it there. I cant wait to move out of Chicago worst city in the US. Kool dogs by the way I love Shepherds.
