yeah,
i went and worked on a truck, diagnosed a fuel pump problem, and chased some parts down. that very same chevy van i just put a pump in, not more then a month ago stopped working. so i have to pull that back apart. then i was at napa and the ignition switch in my shadow went south. and the parts for that car are spendy. so now i gotta fix that. so i can have the ranger back. erin's driving the ranger to work. until i get the shadow fixed. so i'm waiting for parts for that.
hi don thats what i'm doing. i took the day off too.
Well Racing was done on Saturday, and Sunday we brought the Bronco and the trailer with the race cars home. Going up the Goverment Camp I fried the trans in the Bronco. Smoked her pretty bad. Got up on Monday with not reverse and no 2nd gear. Had to run her out though the trees in 4x4 to get out of my driveway. Lots of fun.
No, not good, but fixable. Will make it tuffer for towing this time around. Poor old truck will soon be 30 years old. Before the truck went bad, I did get a chance to drive a 2010 SHO Taurus, I did like it. My wife was about ready to swap off the Mustang for it, that way we would have 3 of them, the 93's that I have would not hold up to the new one, but $43K was a bit much.
yeah stay away from the taurass because thats what you get. hey al, i know a good tranny guy. so if you get it out take it to clays here in sandy... clays a ford guy but he's not on the forum.
I took it to Bend yesterday to get her done, I do not think that she had one more trip over Mt. Hood left in her. I got 2 of the SHO's now, they have been great, fast and fun. I have over 199k on the black 5sp car and the red automatic has 145k on it.
