X 2 Dave, it's good to have you back paying taxes, Obama needs the money.
Thanks for the morale session guys!..........Maybe I will just turn the job down and become a full time, professional welfare parasite!......Now wheres that Oregon trail card? Oh yeah, right next to my obama bucks!
Good to hear your back in the working class Dave. Hey does the Ranger have the 5 speed Mitsubishi transmission in it. I yanked one out of my 87 Bronco II once because of a bad input shaft bearing. I guess it was not designed with drain holes in the bottom of the case and the oil would move back on the gears and starve the front bearing. The fix was to install a sealed bearing that wasn't case lubricated.

Mine is a Toyo Kyogo 5 sp.( Mazda?) How easy was the bearing job, and how did it turn out when done?
Wasn't that bad dropped it as one unit. I bought the shop manual when I bought the truck so it spelled out what I needed to do. The hardest part was getting the the bearing of the shaft. If you have access to a press and a bearing knife it shouldn't be a problem. Napa usually has a press and a knife in the back of their stores. I can't remember where I got the bearing though, I thought I ordered it from Ford.
Hows everyone enjoying their Labor Day wknd rain?..........After a long, hot, dusty summer, Its quite refreshing!.................Also means the salmon will be coming up-river with the rain.
We got about 1/4" of rain last night. Been windy and cool here today. I'm moving "stuff" from the old place to the new place all weekend. Somebody kill me.......................Nobody needs this much stuff!
