Just picked-up a 1966 for parts---no motor or front fenders but has a power steering box and also no steering colum.
Wonder if anyone can ID the box by these tag numbers and tell me if my trucks original colum would fit and if not what will.

#on tag---SPA AN CH13C / #on steering box---C6AR-3580-A2.
All 1966/68 F100/250 2WD's and some 1969 F100/250 2WD's offered the optional Bendix P/S.
The Bendix P/S gearbox is a POS, so ppl remove it, use one of the Ford P/S gearboxes that were used on late 1969 F100/250 2WD's, 1970/79 F100/350 2WD's.
And that is exactly what this is: SPA-AN = 1974/78 F100/350 P/S Gearbox.
C6AR-3580-A2 is the ID number for the steering gear sector shaft housing's cover only.
The same cover fits many 1965/1979 passenger cars, 1979/2002 Crown Vics, 1969/96 trucks: C6AR-3580-A2 = C6AZ3580A replaced by D9AZ3580A.
The two seals kits used with this P/S gearbox are same applications as the cover.
