tire size!
i have a 2006 FX4 crew with the 20" wheels, what is the max size tire i can put on there without a level/lift kit? and i was also considering a 2" level kit, how hard is it to install these and how much of i bigger tire can i fit if i do one?

There are many posts on these topics at FTE. There was one in particular that helped me with the leveling kit. I used the 2"AS spacer. It was not too difficult though I was a little hesitant with parts of it just because I had never done such before. That post had step by steps with pictures and torque specs. Took me probably 2.5-3 hrs though some have said they did in ~1.5 hrs. If I find the thread link in my stored threads, I will post later.
On tires, I have P275R60's on stock 20" rims. No rubbing before or after leveling kit. Have heard P305/60 (35") rub a little without the leveling kit and none with 2" levelling kit.

Found thread, but could not get the zip file to open, however, I believe the attached PDF is what I got from the link before. Either that or it is what I got from AutoSprings. Either way, helpful. Good luck.
