vac ports
*my truck doesn't run very well, take what I say with a big grain of salt*
The Haynes manual I bought for my 83 F250 has the hookup under the float bowl and next to the port side carburetor barrel as going to EGR/vac advance, though that seems kinda screwy since that port will pull vacuum at idle (which is bad for timing, since the EGR should also be closed at idle).
I'm still trying to find out about the other one myself. If my truck had a carbon can, it was ripped out by previous owners awhile ago.
