Time for tunes! So, what's the real world difference between Jody's 100/120/and two 140 tunes? I'm really only looking for one play tune(I'm sure thats gonna change) besides the tow and others. I kinda remember that the oil pump/injectors run out of steam with the 140's but thats one of the reasons I'm asking. I'm not looking to terrorize the neighborhood, just a little oomph when I want. Truck is stock except for the support mods.
Oh, by the way, if I didn't run across you guys I probably would have been perfectly happy w/a stock truck(well, maybe not perfectly). The wife blames you too
You wont get all the power the 140a has, but you can blow a lot of smoke with it. lol. I got the 140 right off the bat before I did the turbo and injectors, and knew I wasn't getting all it had, but I get it all now.

I have the tunes mentioned in sig. My favorite is the 60 tow (used 80% of time) and the 120r for the rest. I like the power and idle of the 120r over the 80e. If I had to do again I would get the tow tunes I have and 120r.

Well Super, comparing your truck to mine is apples/oranges, but why do you like the 100 over the 80E? I ask because I guess I'm torn between the 100 and 120. There's always the option of both though- see what this place does!
I have the 120 race and the 140 I think extreme as my big tunes. The 120 just goes the 140 blows a lot of smoke. It's exactly what I wanted. Ask Jody and he will tell you which one to get.

Well its honestly because for some reason my 100 Performance tune gets the best MPG.
I don't like the 60 tow except when it's slick out (raining or snowing) I have used it in the past when towing but playing with it on the way home from RRE after talking with Barry, I found that my EGT's were easier to control in the 80E than in the 60 tow. I drive around in the 80E 95% of the time at least. If I really want some smoke, I go to the 140, and if I KNOW I am going to race, I will put it in 120 because I know it has a few more HP to the wheels, but it's hard to tell the difference really.
