I was wondering why I couldn't find the color on Ford's build site. I thought maybe I was looking at the wrong trim level. I wanted to call the color "Aztec Gold" but my recollection wasn't that clear and I wanted to confirm it on Fords build page.

Okay, I initially wanted a 2009 when I started looking for the excellent rebates they had. They were few and hard to locate. I did find an FX4 in the color in the picture. This truck was loaded and I LOVED it. The color was different (which I liked) and it came with every option I wanted.
Unfortunately, my wife said it would be a cold day in hell before she bought a truck that color let alone drive it. In the end, settled on the 2010!

I really like that color. I started a thread about it a little ways back asking what people thought and most hated it. It looks bad on the Ford website(when they had it) but somthing looks awsome about it to me in person. Ive seen one FX4 in that color, and the crooks at the dealership near me had 5 XLT crews (and still have 2 at the time of this post)
That dealership sucks, and if anyone in the Detroit area wants to know which one it is PM me and Ill tell you, that way you can avoid them.

That's actually not that bad a color when you see it up close. There are two (or were two) at a dealership about 40 miles from here. At first, I didn't care for it but after seeing it in person, I like it a little better. Don't think I'd want one but it's not the worst color I've ever seen on a truck.
