Tall, narrow tire pics?

Anyone have 255/80/17 or something similar (33x10x17) on a Super Duty? I really like taller/narrower tires on my vehicles and it's been difficult to find one that fits a 17" wheel. There are some good looking tires for a 16" wheel but that won't fit my truck (2005). I'm interested to see some trucks with taller/narrower tires. Even something taller or slightly wider, like a 35x11 tire on a SD. Thanks.

I'll look for a pic, but...
Toyo 285/75-17 is what I am running.
Thats the tallest, narrowest I could find.

I've never seen a 255/80r17 who makes em out of curiosity? I've seen 255/85/r16's though (aka pizza cutters), but not in a 17. Those toyo's are about it for that profile and last I checked they werent too cheap either.

275/75/17 Nitto Terra's are about 34" tall and fit on a 17x7.5" rim.

The BFG MT KM2 is now offered in 255/80/17, it's about a 33.5x10x17. It's not the tire I want, but it's as close to the size I want as I can find. What I really want is a BFG AT/KO or a BFG Commercial Traction in about that size, or even better a 265/80/17. The "pizza cutters" have always done better for me in almost all situations. The BFG MT KM2 is a new size, but it's really more aggressive than I want. It is though a "E" rated tire, which I really like. It might be just a tad narrow though...I don't know.

I know how you feel, I was thinking about 255/85R16 when I got my next set of tires for my F150 but them darn Kuhmo MT's have 50,000 on them and still almost 1/2 tread! Only my 2nd set of tires on that truck since 2000 (1st set were already on it). Now I got the SD and of course it is 17" minimum rim. I'm thinking along the lines of 285/75/17 or 18.

Yeah, the Toyo MT is offered in 285/75/17 and may be my next tire, but not exactly what I want either...

Nitto has the Dura Grappler in 285/75/17 and maybe the Terra Grappler also (not 100% sure). Both styles are available as 285/70/17 as well.

Well tall and skinny should be better for winter driving I would think and give you better mpg. I was looking at the dura grappler too but I want a bit more aggressive AT I might go with the terra. Or maybe the dura for summer/hauling camper and the terra grappler or toyo MT for fall hunting season/winter.

Look in my Gallery,,under my 06' F-350 pics,,,some 17" wheels and Hankook 285/70/17 D range tires,,33" tall,,,I think they stated they were 11" wide when I purchased them,,they are studded for winter/plowing.

I'm running 255/85/16 Truxus MT's on a set of Helo Maxx 8 16x8 rims. Absolutely love them. Right now I have a set of same size BFG MT's on stock wheels and they are ok, definitely not as good as the Truxus. They fit on my truck with X springs with no rubbing issues at all.
