Shell Rotella T is practically worshipped around here. Either conventional 15W/40 or synthetic 5W/40. Good stuff. But considering you are in the great white north, you might want to search a little harder for the synthetic. Otherwise Ford wants you to change to a lighter oil in the winter months.
Those are pretty good prices for Motorcraft, where did you order them? I usually buy Racor brand from dieselfiltersonline.com. Racor makes them for Motorcraft so they are the same.
Is the Racor truly the same as the motorcraft? It's $20 cheaper for the fuel filter and $5 cheaper for the oil.
