How much CRUSH?
How much crush is put on crush sleeves? My original one that came out of my 10.5 had a height of 0.470" and the brand new one has a height of 0.483".
People talk of using a 4 ft pipe in order to crush the sleeve, all for 0.013 thou?
Is this right?

the amount of crush isnt important.its the amount of rotational drag that is.you should have about 20-30 inch lbs of preload on the pinion bearings.if you go past it .get another crush sleeve and start over.
