5 Star update 08 V10

Got my X3 Tuner from 5 Star yesterday got in downloaded this morning. Took it out for the afternoon for some running around.

First impressions are great! Truck feels so much more responsive! Shifts are smooth yet quick (almost like a very mild shift kit, but with out the hard hit). Power thru the RPM range has increased nicely! Truck felt much much quicker throughout the power band!

This is still on the 87 tune, can't imagine what the 93 tune would bring to the table! I'm almost afraid to try it out for fear I won't want to switch back to the 87.

I'm very pleased with the tune the improved driveability!

Thanks MIKE! Your guys are TOP NOTCH!

Therein lies the problem for me. I can't bring myself to go back to the 87 tune now (although 87 is a massive improvement over stock)

I've thrown a tuner on gas engines before and never noticed much a difference in power. I was kinda skeptical when I bought my LiveWire from Mike. Lets just say Mike and LiveWire have made me a believer that a gas engine CAN be tuned.

I was just really surprised with how well the Truck responded to just a tune from Mike! Ill try the 93 tune someday, but for now i'm very pleased.

If anyone is thinking about a tune....do it!

I hate reading these posts it's like going to a gun store and walking out empty handed. The truck has more than enough power but a little more wouldn't hurt. That BSEG would hurt even more. Now stop it.

I had EXACTLY the same thoughts on frying the PCM. That's why I called Mike and he walked me through it with no problems.
