How can I find out what the stock jetting would be for the holly 4180-C carb on my 87 F250 351. I got a rebuild and now it backfires big when I get off the gas at high speed.
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 26-Aug-02 AT 03:57 AM (EST)]Your 4180 is a non-adjustable emissions carb and would be better tossed in favor of an 1850 600cfm "universal" with vac seconds. Or if you have the cash one of the new Avenger carbs.
But in answer to your question the primary jet with be either a 122-612 or a 122-622. The secondary metering plate will be either a 34R-6153-61 34-6153-30.
Cheers
