you just need a bb from a bb gun, find a nephew who has a bb gun and get one from him, or just buy a box of bbs at wal-mart and take one out of the box, and give the rest to your nephew as a birthday present!!!

As I did, you can use a 3/16" ball bearing obtained from any hardware store for probably 7 cents or less. Hint, buy a few as they tend to be slippery little buggers.

Yea, just use a BB from a BB Gun. I'd try and find a copper one, not a lead one.
Steal one from the neighbor kid for 25 cents or something, it will make him happy.

Don't think they make lead bb's... not for bb guns, for reloading shotgun shells yes.
Only bb's i've seen are copper or aluminium.

A "BB" gun BB is the safe way to go. In the past oversize ***** have been used only to get stuck in the regulator rendering them "JUNK"
Be sure you DON"T use a LEAD BB as there is not supposed to be any lead in Diesel fuel..

Yea, they make lead bb's for bb guns, well, probably not anymore. I used them when I was younger.
Aluminum is really soft. So I woudln't use them.

Do this one and you can adjust the FP right where you want it. IIRC the bolt size is #8x24, not sure though.
The ball bearing is the other option..shown.

you'd be better to machine that part then to grind it if you can however.
Do you just lock tite the nut in place?
