Cab details
All: Prepping my cab for floor sandblasting and pan replacement. Found 2 pieces 1/8" thick x 2"x4" foam rubber inside well formed by rear cab corners and platform supporting fuel tank. What are they for, what function do they provide, and where do I replace them? Any suggestions welcomed. Thx. Jeff

Jeff: Not sure what year your F250 is but I have a 64 F250 and those rubber pieces fit under the ends of the fuel tank to keep it from making noise. I redid my 64 as you are doing and I just cut out pieces of rubber out of my old floor covering. I think any rubber will do.

I do not think those pieces are original Ford (but I could be wrong). My guess is they are an effort to keep dust out of the cab the big drain holes in the lower cab corners let in dust. Or maybe an effort to keep trash out of the cab corners. IMHO!
