Electrical Issue HELP!!!
Hi All, <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
<o></o>
I have an 1985 F250XL with a 460 (7.5L). <o></o>
<o></o>
Over the Past few weeks, my truck has been stalling after it reaches operating temperature, the truck does not sputter or shake it just stops, I know it’s not a fuel issue, due to the fact that it just shuts off with no sputter or anything, dies like someone hit a switch. After the truck stalled it would have to sit for a few hours and then it would start again, but over the past few weeks the issue has progressed. I have replaced the Battery, Ignition module, coil, and the alternator, I am still having the same issue, starts rungs great and then dies. I went to start it this weekend and it tried to turn over for about a second and then the ignition just got stuck and the truck tried to turn over a few times and then just went dead. I am not sure what would make the truck do this, I thought for sure the Ignition Module would do it but I am still having the same issue. Does anyone have any information? I am pretty sure i am loosing spark after it gets warm enough. I have no idea what could be doing this? can anyone help? Thanks
