The truck is at the Reno Ford dealer. When it showed up they said it was idling fine. Great, this is going to be fun. Luckily I took some video of the bad idle. Hopefully this helps them diagnose the problem.
Dealer is very busy. It appears the dealer only does stuff you ask them to do directly. It's not like they are proactive and check typical stuff if the truck 'feels' ok and does not throw any codes. I expect them to do a fine job, but I want to make sure everything has been looked at. My question is this: Should I ask them to check any other things directly and/or insist on fixing some TSB's?
If the tech has looked at it, then most likely he's run diagnostics which would tell him what DTC's are indicated...which should be relayed to you. Some can be emmissions related, in which case....(some , not all) dealers will waive the deductible. He should be telling you something more like Bad IPR...DTC ??
